Ponche de Jamaica

The hibiscus flower or flor de jamaica is great for your immune and digestive systems, and it’s a powerful natural anti-inflammatory. While it's used all-year-long to prepare refreshing teas or to infuse recipes with it's beautiful bright red color, we can certainly prepare something more festive and healthyish for the holidays.


Why not make a delicious punch?! Balance out all the booze this season by making a punch with dried hibiscus, fresh oranges, cranberries, honey and cinnamon sticks. Boil everything for about 15 minutes and serve it hot or iced. If you want to make it even more festive, add a couple of shots of rum and enjoy! Your guests will be happy to have a different option.
