Locals Eat Chicago - New Video Series

Some cities are just meant to be food cities. Chicago has been an important connector and transport hub for food producers all over the country, not to mention its meatpacking and food processing background and the never-ending culinary influence of hard-working immigrants.

It makes for a very exciting culinary scene with so many food creations worth celebrating. Yet, many food bloggers and Youtubers tend to stop at the obvious deep dish pizza, Chicago-style hot dog, and any of the trendy Instagrammable inventions. 

We wanted to offer the point of view of a couple that has struggled to try everything this city has to offer in the 9 years we’ve lived here. That’s how the LOCALS EAT CHICAGO series was born. It's our opportunity to discover more of these unique dishes and businesses to share them with all of you.

Our plan is to feature 5 classic eats (or drinks) per episode - places that are true local gems, with a couple of very famous spots sprinkled here and there. We’ll get started with some of our favorites, but we always appreciate our follower’s recommendations to keep adding places to the list.
